Another Gruesome Act in SVG…Bequia in Blood!

Another Victim

  Brutally Hacked in Beautiful Bequia

This incident has sent tongues wagging again as Vincentians seek to come to grips with the escalation in crime and violence. many are prepared to downplay the issue, however, this incident is a stark reminder of the reality faced by many Vincentian women. When will the bleeding stop?

  5. its about time the “ancient custom” of freely walking around anywhere swinging a cutlass is banned. In any other civilised country you can’t be seen carrying much more than a pen knife!!

As a victim of a stabbing incident in 2009, I’d say that a lot of what these men/women do/does starts in the home. And the Bible must be fulfilled. The heart of men is wicked as time goes on. All we can do is to pray about it. Hanging, yes it may sounds like judgment but the fact is, the future for a man, woman, boy, girl, you name it; it’s already set in place. We may want to change a lot of what’s happening but there are some things we can’t change.
While I’m thankful that my life was speared, the only person responsible for me still being alive is the Lord. I’m sorry that SVG has become this way but prayer is a powerful thing. So let’s just pray

    Romans 3: 10-18
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
13 Their throat [is] an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps [is] under their lips:
14 Whose mouth [is] full of cursing and bitterness:
15 Their feet [are] swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery [are] in their ways:
17 And the way of peace have they not known:
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.

If people cannot live as God wants them to live together in a relationship, they should leave well enough alone. when people love each other it should never have to come to this, if the relationship cannot work leave it alone and move on especially if you are not married. But I guest if we do not know God and how He wants us to live, we tents to do any thing and live any how, we did not give life and we should not be taking life from any one regardless of what is going on in our lives. But only God knows, we need to constantly pray for our love ones and even those who hurt them.

With the sudden influx of homicide pervading the landscape, it is clear that the social climate of St. Vincent & the Grenadines is far from what it used to be. Looking at Vincentians’ sudden proclivity to do harm to their fellow brothers and sisters, it must be questioned whether it is the surface manifestation of problems that lie deeper within. If that is so, then what are the causes? I will like to get some response on this. Please!

I agree with the hanging 100% I think it should be brought to Ralph attention to have a vote on the island on all who favor death penalty and let justice prevail.
