This young lady did not die. I personally know her and she went on to even have a baby after this incident. The young man responsible for this was sent to prison and sometime in 2012 even tried to commit suicide while in prison.

Hi to the oridinary citizens of St.Vincent and the grenadines, the law and authority citizens and foremost the leaders of the Laborparty and the NDP. I say to you people it is time to get civilized. Even though you may not be a criminal but live a good life, you are reponsible to stand up and make a protest, and if the Government ( which ever Government is in power) doesn’t find effective measure to bring back the culture of Vincentians to their norms, then you need to ease that government or Stvincent will be more so labled as “Death zone island” These crimimal activities were not part of SVG culture and traditions. In the past SVG had the record as one of the most peacefull island now it has become a haven for the following: murderers, drugs, robbers and guns. These four nouns are connected and tied to each other. It’s obvious the Government does care too much because they would have done more peventative effort. Now all these savage behaviors are bad for tourism,an economic exploration that PM is in obsession with. Yes, it is all good to build big airports and grand hotels on the beach because they are needed, but then what next we have savages raping, robbing and killing off the tourist. Vincentian take a good look and proove for your self that St.Vincent is heading for a “death zone label”. To begin with, Glen Jackson, the woman beheaded in Tokyo bus terminal, the lawyer from Leeward, a busines man in biabou or country retired from England, the dentist Ells, and now the woman in the country. Vincentian who is next on the list. Vincentian, stop worry about who you like or favior to run Government and worry about what taking the island down to pieces. Do you know that many people that I have spoken to change their minds from returning to SVG?. It’s a shame. Most Vincentian worry about putting a party they like in power. Whether it be NDP or ULP, I gurantee that this party thing is traditional or inherited. Your predecessors are gone already. You are the ones facing the heat now. You can’t go back ( back is death) You must choose a party from your own logical point of view, not what handed down or transferred to you, then you become a robot and cannot make any change for your self. Unfortunately is only the party that succumed you to robotism can make any change ,if it wants to, and when, where and how it wants to.

  3. We can express our anger and frustration without the use of such profanity. These stories are making headlines in every nation daily.
I strongly believe this is a savage act. It’s not the first time sometime like this have taken place but for me I’ll surely HUNG that individual; no Mercy, no sympathy, no forgiven-ness. Does the Government have to implement a Law to purchase a cutlass to avoid criminal activities? Vincentians, wake up. Men protect the women and children of the Nation; stand together. Enough crime. Let this be something of the past. Our fore fathers have fought hard and long to get us out of SLAVERY. Change your ways, let’s respect each other, spread some love today.
SVG was a place of greatness, children were looked at by neighbors when mothers went to work or Town. Older people were comfortable to live without fear. They’ll send us to the grocery stores, the fish market and never had to fear for their lives. Boys will fight today and play again as friends tomorrow. Girls and boys will play, eat and walk home together without fear of rape or molestation. We need a rebirth. What’s happening to our little country? Is it too much internet access or American TV?
Enough is Enough. Let this be the final. I say hang anyone who thinks they’re above the law. No free meals at the prison except a LETHAL INJECTION.

The death penalty solves nothing. Taking the life of another is wrong whether it be random, premeditated or under the law.

My fellow Vincentian please permit me to correct your statement in essence and with all due respect. I am a citizen of my beloved St. vincent, and migrated years ago. Each time I hear of the heinous crimes taking place there, it grieves my spirit that crimes are being committed so rampantly and no one seems to care to do anything about it. How can I encourage my American friends to travel with me to my own country when I cannot guarantee them some sort of safety? be it from robbers, from rapists, and from senseless murders. I used to think that that type of lifestyle could ouly be found in America, but not in St. Vincent but I’m so wrong.
Accorting to the statement ‘ the death penalty solves nothing’ I have to direct Mr. James to the holy scriptures Romans 13:1-6 & 1 Peter 2:13-17
Know first of all that every power is ordained by God.for rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil, and if you do evil he beareth not the sword in vain for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Therefore they are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. If you do well then good, but if you kill then look out for the minister sent by God will exact judgement in order to abate much more in future.
