Police Criminals back on the job! Shame on Miller! By E. A. Ballantyne

SVG Police Criminals and Commissioner Keith Miller

I join all those who call for the immediate resignation of Commissioner of Police Keith Miller! He has to be the most arrogant, insensitive and incompetent head of the constabulary in the history of this country!  Miller apparently has no regard for justice, fair play or integrity.  He is corrupt to the core!

Was Miller pressured to reinstate the three rogue cops that were convicted of criminal assault? If so by whom? What good does Miller expect to reap by this woefully insensitive action? One may have to conclude that police brutality can now occur in this place with impunity.

Given the lousy image now enjoyed by the force at this time; given his own questionable performance as top cop; Miller has thrown away an opportunity to demonstrate effective leadership, repair and re-shape the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force.  He cannot achieve this by embracing convicted criminals as part of this country’s lone law enforcement agency.

Perhaps it is time for Miller to call it a day; perhaps he should be fired or he should resign.  The law-abiding citizens of this country should now make a clarion call for Miller to go!

The police force is dirty and Commissioner Miller is adding to the filth!

  1. Should you all be aware that these three cops were accused of torturing the young man who was taken into custody last month for killing the school boy and hiding him in a shed in the mountains attempting to kill another young man ?? Now , consider the credibility of his torture story??? Suppose the three cops decided to take the matter to the court again if they can????

What they all forget is that history is being made every day, and every deed and word that they utter is being recorded and transcribed. I can tell you it makes interesting reading when you put it all together.
The Police Chief and Speaker of the House will have a great shock in their own lifetime, it will be published.

Any law enforcement Officer who’s CONVICTED CRIMINALLY of a crime as disturbing as this SHOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT BE REINSTATED! This is an outrage, and an affront to the principles of justice in our society. What message is this sending to our society as a whole? This is a deterioration of our social structure. I don’t care which side of the political spectrum you’re on, this is not a political issue this is a moral, ethical, AND A BLATANT UNIVERSAL VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS! Those who are defending this disgraceful injustice should remember that the claws of these monsters can turn on them one day! THE VINCENTIAN PEOPLE SHOULD BE OUTRAGED BY THIS! SHAME ON THEM! NO EXCUSES FOR SUPPORTING THESE OFFICERS!

Yes, Miller must go. And so should the chairman of the Police Service Commission. He must also be held accountable.
